: Brooklyn or Long Island Carnival
The
answer is clear this year, Long Island Carnival continues to
improve its quality, presentation, and organization in its
3rd year of existence. For MAS players resident in near-by
Brooklyn it is like a dream come true. Wide open area, being
able to free up, no harassment from the police (L.I. Police
displayed extemporary control over the carnival in a way
that did not encroach on the spectators or MAS players),
enough time for everyone to traverse the entire carnival
route and best of all, an outlet for a little jump, once you
cross the stage. Long Island Carnival is shaping up to be
the premier carnival in the North East. W.I.A.D.C.A (The
organization that runs the Brooklyn carnival) was present in
the VIP section watching the entire operation. Glad to see
they were present so that they can see how a successful
carnival can be put together. Brooklyn watch out, your days
may be numbered, there is an alternative now!
Not so fast
LI Carnival, you have manage to put something together
spectacular this year. Lets see the longevity and how you
are able to enhance this product. And most of all, lets see
if you champion the process to get the gov't, town or what
ever you have out there to make the investment in the very
people that make this all possible. Here is a novel idea.
Trucks and generators for all the pure MAS bands as a
start..
