: Hawks International
President Steps down, Term Limits.
Hawks
International President & Executive Director steps down as a
result of the organization presidential term limits. Ramsey
will continue to assist the organization in transitioning to
the next era by working with the erected committees to take
the place of Ramsey until general elections.
Note from
the former President:
It has been
a tremendous pleasure and opportunity to work with and lead
one of the most respected Caribbean organizations in North
America. Functioning in the capacity of
President for the last 6 years with Hawks International has
afforded me many tangible skills that will undoubtedly
remain with me through out my life both personally and
professionally. No other experience would have
allowed me to meet and be exposed to Domestic/Foreign
Dignitaries, Political Leaders, and most importantly the
many supporters of Hawks International ,
young/old both in the community, all over the North America
and Internationally. Looking back on my
experience, the only thing I would change is the
Presidential Term Limits in the bylaws.
My goal
assuming the role in 2000 was simple, evolve and
revolutionize Hawks from what seemed like an almost
impossible task. Mission accomplished! I would
like to publicly thank Leo Knowlessor and Desmond
Chase founding members of Hawks International for the
guidance through out the adventure. I would also like
to thank all my friends, family and supporters for the
support and encouragement during my tenure. As always,
"Dare to Forge the Future."
Dare
to forge the future . . . make the difference.
