08-25-04 : Returning To Form

Two years after Hawks issues a statement " Pause For A Cause " they are poised and ready to go for a clean sweep by capturing " Large Band Of The Year 2004 " in addition to sweeping the " King & Queen " competition.  The very last time this feat was accomplished was in 1996 by Hawks International, the only band to accomplish this task in the history of this carnival.

This year has already proven to be extra special with an unprecedented amount of characters displays set to full the " parkway ".  In addition, to having two queen portrayals, the Hawks King this year coined " Scream " will be one for the history books.

Hawks International has been known for their creativity and talent retained by their Master Mas engineers who have a combined 100 years experience in designing and producing carnival costumes.  An art form in which the only reward is its contribution to sustaining the culture.  Hawks International has been working around the clock since June in preparation for their massive presentation for Labor Day 2004.

The word is out Hawks has " Returned To Form ".
